James D. Stoner, P.S.M. – President

Mr. Stoner is a second generation Land Surveyor, with over fifty years of surveying experience in South Florida. He began his surveying career at Williams, Hatfield, & Stoner, Inc., working from the bottom as a Rodman, all the way up to Vice President of the Surveying Department. Mr. Stoner founded Stoner & Associates, Inc. in 1988, based on the philosophy that attention to detail and quality work would create a successful firm. He manages all aspects of the firm’s growth and development. Mr. Stoner has supervised both small and large scale surveying projects. His firm has successfully completed numerous roadway and other various projects, while working directly with the clients and consultants.

Douglas Stoner – Vice President / CEO

Douglas has been a vital member of Stoner & Associates for over 30 years, progressing from a Rodman to Vice President and CEO. In his supervisory role, he managed the daily operations of four field crews, emphasizing employee safety, fleet management, and equipment maintenance. Douglas’s expertise spans various survey types, including Boundary, Topographic, and Construction Layout Surveys. His proficiency with equipment such as Topcon and GPS, along with his knowledge of Carlson Survey and AutoCAD, has been instrumental in enhancing our field operations.

Leigh Anne Stoner – Vice President / CFO

Leigh Anne joined Stoner & Associates over 15 years ago as Office Manager, bringing over a decade of experience in accounting and office management. She has efficiently overseen our accounting and payroll systems, managed daily office operations, and coordinated various office projects. Her leadership has ensured smooth administrative functions, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our firm.
