Our Team

Mr. Stoner is a second generation Land Surveyor, with over fifty years of surveying experience in South Florida. He began his surveying career at Williams, Hatfield, & Stoner, Inc., working from the bottom as a Rodman, all the way up to Vice President of the Surveying Department. Mr. Stoner founded Stoner & Associates, Inc. in 1988, based on the philosophy that attention to detail and quality work would create a successful firm. He manages all aspects of the firm’s growth and development. Mr. Stoner has supervised both small and large scale surveying projects. His firm has successfully completed numerous roadway and other various projects, while working directly with the clients and consultants.

Douglas has been a vital member of Stoner & Associates for over 30 years, progressing from a Rodman to Vice President and CEO. In his supervisory role, he managed the daily operations of four field crews, emphasizing employee safety, fleet management, and equipment maintenance. Douglas’s expertise spans various survey types, including Boundary, Topographic, and Construction Layout Surveys. His proficiency with equipment such as Topcon and GPS, along with his knowledge of Carlson Survey and AutoCAD, has been instrumental in enhancing our field operations.

Leigh Anne joined Stoner & Associates over 15 years ago as Office Manager, bringing over a decade of experience in accounting and office management. She has efficiently overseen our accounting and payroll systems, managed daily office operations, and coordinated various office projects. Her leadership has ensured smooth administrative functions, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our firm.

With over forty-two years of experience under his belt, Mr. De La Rocha has extensive experience in ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Design Surveys, preparing Digital Terrain Models (DTM), Right-of-Way Control Surveys, Right-of-Way Monumentation, Utility Surveys, Parcel Staking, Boundary Survey, and Topographic Surveys. During his thirty-one years of employment with Stoner, Mr. De La Rocha has earned himself an outstanding reputation for the quality of his work. Mr. De La Rocha is proficient in CAiCE, Eagle Point, EFB, MicroStation, Carlson Survey, and AutoCAD.

Mr. Rodriguez has currently been with Stoner for over nineteen years. Prior to his time at Stoner & Associates, Mr. Rodriguez spent over nine years as a Survey/CAD Technician for other survey firms. Mr. Rodriguez currently does most of the drawings needed at Stoner, and has become a valuable member of our team.

Mr. Borges has been in the Land Surveying profession for over forty years, with thirty-four years spent at Stoner.  Making Mr. Borges Stoner’s longest employee.  Mr. Borges is also a licensed Professional Land Surveyor. Mr. Borges currently serves as Stoner’s Senior Crew Chief. His extensive knowledge allows him the ability to tackle our toughest projects and to teach and assist our other crews. Mr. Borges has extensive experience in all of the types of surveys performed by Stoner, and specialized in Boundary, Topographic, and Aviation Surveys.
