Specific Purpose Surveys

Specific Purpose Surveys are surveys that do not qualify to be under the definition of Control, Boundary, Topographic, Hydrographic, As-built/Record, Construction Layout or Quantity Survey.

The purpose of this type of survey is very specific in nature as specified by the client. The purpose will be stated on the survey sketch or report.

For example, an apartment complex may want to repave their roads.  Instead of surveying the entire apartment complex, our team would Specifically Survey only the parking lots.  For a Hydrographic Survey, they may only want a specific area of a canal because a cable is going to be run underground so it’s a specific canal cross section that’s needed.
